Lyrical Logic

She remains calm
Even through the hard moments. 
She lifts those around her up
As they try and shut her down. 
She breaks every record
Even as they call her overrated. 

Little girls and boys always watching 
As she fights for the win. 
She always stops and makes time for them
Even when she doesn't have to. 

She knows the next generation is watching
And she praises those that have come before her.
But for now,
She's just that Iowa girl, 
Bringing attention to women's sports.
