Lyrical Logic

The things we expect from women: 
Tend the house,
Raise the kids,
Have a meaningful career,
Grow another human,
Only to push it from her body,
And we have the audacity to expect her
To look perfect doing it. 
What do we give her in return? 
Lesser pay, 
Fewer human rights, 
Expect so much more of her
Give her all the blame,
And the nerve we have to tell her 
She isn't doing anything right. 
No wonder she struggles alone every night.
No wonder she is starting to politely ask for something more. 
No wonder she has started demanding equality. 
I am amazed at the strength she has to put up with all we put her through.
I am shocked she is only demanding equality, 
Because I would demand revenge.
